Kane-Lewis
Productions is an audio visual services company producing videos,
DVDs, and CDs for television, corporations, and organizations.
Specializing in documentaries for the arts and sciences, Kane-Lewis
has recently released an hour television
documentary on the life of artist M.C. Richards, a central player in
the New York avant-garde.
Currently in production is the eighth in a series of television portraits
of Maine artists titled Maine Masters. Richard Kane, a partner
in the company, is the series editor. The company provides editorial services
on the coast of Maine on Media 100 and Final Cut Pro for the industry. Bed
and breakfast provided for our distant clients!
Location sound services is another specialty of
Kane-Lewis with clients from National Geographic and Discovery
to PBS and the Networks. Richard has also been recording the New England
Jazz Festival in Deer Isle, Maine since its inception July 2002.

Media education for schools is a new addition
to the company's services building on thirty years of arts education programming
by company partner, Melody Lewis-Kane. The new Maine Learning Technology
Initiative, providing Apple iBooks to all 7th and 8th graders, has spurred
the interest of Maine's teachers in a new workshops titled iMovie Across
the Curriculum. |
